Traveling on glaciers opens up a magical realm to ski and ride. However, they’re serious business. A crevasse rope rescue course is a fantastic step to reduce your risk.

2 evenings in Calgary classroom / dryland + a field day putting rescue systems into practice. The field day can be done on winter boots as we do not travel far - simply getting out to the mountains to make actual snow & ice anchors and practice our systems in a real environment.

You’ll learn about:

  • Gear & rope selection

  • When and how to rope up

  • Snow & ice anchors

  • Rope ascending

  • Haul systems

Nov.26 & 27 6-9pm (calgary) classroom and Saturday Nov 29th field day.

$295 per person. Max 8 students.
